Got back up there today for the purchase. Truck fired up 3rd crank, good oil pressure, air pressure, brakes feel good, lights work, heater works, wipers work. Get to drive it home tomorrow, while the wipers work the blades are shot and it was pouring rain. Seller threw in a set of solid fenders...

I may try to post it for sale first, BUT before it was parked it had a full service and all new brakes so it will definitely be a good base and less hassle than buying a different truck and having to tear through it. Plus the price is right

As far as I know only the stuff outside is for sale. I'll have to ask though next time I am out there if I pick up this fire truck

Mostly money. He wants a lot more for the other trucks, more than I can spend right now. The rest of his M35's are also A3's and I want an A2.

I'm told it does. The guy who has it owns over 20 trucks (deuces, 5 tons, ambulances, jeeps an m42 duster and other various vehicles that I have no clue about. I was told all his trucks are started at least once or twice a year. If I can settle on a price I'll be back up with batteries to see if...

Do these sit lower than an M35A2?? Doesn't seem as tall as others I've seen in pictures

Yes it is non-turbo. I will probably try to add a turbo however. I may try to sell/trade for an M35a2 before I try and convert this one in case someone wants to keep it a fire truck and restore.

Can anyone confirm if the M45 is basically an M35 setup as a firetruck? I have the opportunity to get an M45 model FT750W but I'd want to ditch the pump bed and put a flat bed on it off an M35.
