The hook/swivel mount and bucket are not for sale due to liability issues, but if the truck sells I will pay $1 for someone to get rid of them for me :wink:
I am not the type to name vehicles, but I am considering naming this truck "inclement weather". It seems like everytime I use it to help other steelsoldiers members it has either been 95 degrees with 1000% humidity, or it has been snowing.
I took it standing in the bucket (thanks brandon) that I finnaly got a mount made up for. It slides and pins into the end of the manual extension. The camera is about 35' off the ground in that pic. Right after I took these I disassembled the mount and prepped & painted it, did some repairs...
I thought it went well with some of the seabee paint on the pipeline bed. I have been thinking about the markings, but I have not made up my mind yet.
I will be painting the base, but just didn't have time to get it clean/prepped this time around.
random update... I weighed the truck with the crane in the stowed position today. Empty but carrying my normal assortment of tools, spare, rigging (a couple of hundred pounds), me and about half a tank of fuel the truck weighed 18040 lbs with 8240 lbs on the front axle and 9800 lbs on the rear...
