    Finally had a moment to try a repair to the Mirror. Have been using twisted wire to keep it together. Used some electrical conduit and all thread with 2 bushings to keep the all thread centered.     Made some cribbing blocks out of some leftover engineered material from the construction site and sealed it with clear polly. Installed some rubber matting to keep this dry in the tool boxes. $22 at Lowes did both boxes .

    Fixed the fuel gauge on the truck by replacing the float on the sending unit. A good friend pointed out that it is the exact same float bulb from a 1965 Ford Mustang. Less than $5 to fix and took all of 10 min. A big thank you to Robert.

    Installed a fire extinguisher holder and fire extinguisher.

    Finished the rebuild of the Shutter Stat and installed it. Works so far! Removed and lubricated the heater fan so I can buy some time to find a replacement. Now it works too. Started to install the fire extinguisher mount but ran out of daylight.
