What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Not the fuel door, m1010. It was like the whole truck was vibrating at its harmonic. I could just breathe on the skinny peddle and the vibration and drone was gone. I plan to replace the motor and transmission mounts, but a screw driver on the idle screw has me fixed up for now. Merry...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Adjusted the idle screw to increase the idle slightly. Was having a drone/vibration problem when stopped in drive or reverse. Read somewhere on here about how just increasing the idle a fraction will fix it. Thanks whoever you are!!! Also discovered a leaking radiator... It's leaking around...

Trucked died a mile from home a couple weeks ago...Wouldn't restart, had to push a dodge truck home with a chain...aua I'd been planning to replace all the rubber fuel lines. The one from the tank to the steel line across the back of the cab was in bad shape. The steel line was cut/bent up by...

Installed new high beam switch. Decided to pull apart the fuse block to clean that while I was working under the dash. I cleaned the cluster circuit board a while back but still don't have 4wd indicator light. It worked last year, so tomorrow night plan to track that down.

I pulled my throttle cable in two last week. Luckily I was still in the driveway. Ordered a used cable from the wizard and installed that tonight. Nice to drive the truck again

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Step 1: Read all 437 pages of this post. Wanted to get through it all before I posted something. I'd get off work at 5, work on the M1010 until 6:30 or so, eat supper real quick and get back out after until 9 or so. Then I'd come in and read read read. I mostly read this post, but I'd take...
