Brought it back out front to the driveway. I was surprised it started right up after a couple months of sitting with no charging.
I also put together the lock switch and trim piece on the CUCV II driver's door.
I found out on friday that the chinese starter died, and took the starter relay and some wiring with it.:mad: Changed it out for an american gear reduction starter that evening in time for the parades that weekend.

They are used to connect a scrambler to the rt-524 and the r-442 for secure voice communications. I have no use for them, but they're kinda cool to have.
Since the topic is axes, Here's a pic of the mount in my 1009 after paint, all the other attachments stay in my ammo can console.
I also bought an rt-524 with all the accessories, so I've got to install the rear buss bar and everything else for it.:jumpin:
Last week I bought a "Special Tool Kit For All Military Vehicles, Wheeled And Tracked". It's the Military Version of the Max Ax. Today I made a mount for it using an extra clamp for a rifle mount.

Today I think I have finally conquered my gen 1 charging issues. I also bolted an ammo can to the radio rack for some more storage, and painted and installed the correct bridge plate bracket.
