I think you were absolutely right. I replaced the terminals today - the melted one and one that snapped in half when tightening it. These things are really poorly made these days. Was thinking about going to bronze instead lead terminals.

Ask ally stock 09 and would like to run that size but unsure if the th400 will take it?
M1009 - pulled the temperature sensor off near the back of the intake on the drivers side. Thought I might be able to find some numbers to cross reference to a new one but no luck. The parts store only has one with atop pinned outlet and mine looks like a coax cable connection.
Tried to install my new 2-3 accumulator pump so that I can put my transmission back together and maybe more the Oh-9 out of the driveway. Need a special tool of course!
Changed my glow plug relay and battery terminal connectors to marine type with wingnut. Still diagnosing my intermittent starting issue where it does not like to start when I have run it and let it sit for about an hour. Transmission shuddering and non-shift to 3rd will be after that. Oh boy!
