24s are close to the size of 34s. mine have tons of power to crank in freezing temps. both will work fine im sure.

i used 34 series in mine. they are the biggest ones i could get that would fit in the stock tray.

As long as you have the lines out if the way there isnt really much there you can hurt. All that stuff is really solid

As munchie said you need to twist them while pulling up or something under the cooling fins to put upward pressure while you wiggle back and forth with a big wrench, channel locks. Etc. a little heat works wonders

Same with me. I thought my 003 was doing fantastic but i had nothing to compare to until i got this 002 done. 002 ran a little too smooth compared to the 003 and only thing i didnt do was an injector tune up so out they came.

Yes they are offset a bit so when you put the weight on them they are straight. 3/4" is way too much though. If its that much then the metal is torn from the rubber

hey thanks!! as for the mounts i managed to score a set from gimpyrobb. there is a guy selling them on a big auction site;). the part # is j-12021. seems to be a common problem. the other 003 i have here that i havent tore into yet has wiped mounts as well. its kinda strange the lighter 002...

i know right. ill have to pull em and do it. on the 002 i just did, i didnt polish them but once i glass beaded them and got them looking like copper i did clearcoat them real quick. haha

Found a part# error in the 003 tm. Didnt know where to post it so this being a rebuild thread i guess here will do. The valve guide seals in the 003 manual are wrong. Correct # is the one in the 002 parts manual. Correct # is 509-0132
