Yep.Sometimes you have to hold the starter switch just a few seconds longer after it starts until oil pressure builds up and the oil pressure switch will close to keep the shut-off solenoid engaged.- Monkeyboyarmy

Definitely a fuel problem.Like you said,you should be getting lots of smoke.I just fired mine up after sitting for 6 months.It did the same thing.I ended up cracking the delivery line at the pump until no air came out.Tried cranking it again and it got better.It would fire once in a while.Then I...- Monkeyboyarmy

Correction.After looking at the pictures,that line doesn't have the JIC fittings.It has standard pipe fittings :oops:(my guess would be 1/4 inch) but one end has a swivel end.NAPA should be able to fix you up anyway.- Monkeyboyarmy

Check the lever that the fuel shut-off solenoid pushes against,which I think is also the throttle lever.Mine sticks closed and I have to move the lever as I am cranking it for it to start.It could have air trapped in the line also if that line is leaking a little bit.I think that those lines...- Monkeyboyarmy
