    On the hard top, see if you can get the back window open while laying on the top of the cab. Then use one of those 'can, top shelf reachers' to hook over the door handle (with Soldier B giving directions while looking in from the other side) and pull on it.

    Only bad thing about a shop van is they are a brick when it comes to air flow around the vehicle going down the road. That flat front wall acts like a reverse sail, or at least it does on both of my shop vans.

    Group 31 batteries. Around here blems in that size cost less than $60 each and they fit in the battery tray of most full sized pickup trucks, so they could have a use after you try to start a deuce.
