Update on trip back: Just past Gainesville FL. 5 hours from the house now. Best price I've paid for Diesel in a long time. 65 miles north of the GA boarder. $2.18.9 a gallon.

Update: I'm 153 miles north of Atlanta. I plan on stopping for the night now. Traffic has been a pain in the you know what. it was even bad in TN.

Started the trip back to Florida. Stopped at a rest area on Highway 33 about 8 1/2 miles from I-75. Had some bad weather just go through. Strong winds and now rain.

Those cover were made for the USMC 5 ton with the 20 foot cargo beds. The super rope is good also. SWB is very happy that the pallet is gone.:-)

The pallet is nice, but a little heavy. It does fit nicely on the trailer. Here in MI, it's been in the lower 90's. Just got some rain so it cooled off a little tonight.

Update: I should be leaving MI around noon on Friday. Heading down I-75 to FL. Sitting on the porch drinking coffee this morning and looking out over the lake.

Loaded my trailer earlier today. Stopped for the night. Staying at the Holiday Inn Express by the Ohio turnpike in Holiday City.

Well I'm loaded. Lol Anyone want some "Vehicular hold down assemblies " i need to get get rid of them. To much weight and space. i might have to take them up to my farm just inside MI and dump them off.

GPS has me at 11:00pm arriving to Groveport. After I stop and eat. Should be by 12:30am

I made it to "Scrounger" place around 1:30 pm on Friday. Andrew let me park my trailer next to all of his "green iron" stuff and boy does he have a lot of it. Trucks and trailers everywhere. We walked his motor-pool and talked about how the hobby has changed from the old days. Left there...

Back on the road. GPS has 12:45pm as the arrival time.

I just crossed into North Caroline. Stopping at a rest area for a few hours. All good so far.

I was planning on making the trip from FL to Ohio, but now I will be going to Maryland first to see my daughter. She is in the process of buying a new house and just put an offer of $420,000 for a home in Owings, MD. She want me to check it out for her. I will be in MD on Friday morning...
