zout,
I have enjoyed this thread immensely and have studied the pictures to the nth degree. I have gleaned many ideas from your posts for my M37 restoration project. It is very sad to see this thread come to an end like this. I do understand the concept of it only takes a few to SCREW IT UP for...
Zout,
In post 1892 in picture #6
I was looking at details of the truck and just wanted to verify something, just in case there is a test later.
QUESTION: The tube above the driveshaft that is mounted to a bed cross member, is that for the parking brakes?

Zout,
Great progress so far. The upside down pictures were no problem, just rotated my monitor to check them out and then moved on to the right side up ones.
Please elaborate more about his adjustable mechanical speedometer drive.
Bert
Glad to see this project is moving forward again, thanks for the update.
That is one heck of a spread of fixins for a cookout. Now I'm hungry and its not even 08:30. (In one picture I saw Miller Lite cans............I thought that was illegal to sell down south) LOL
Bert
PB,
I was glad to see an update posted on your project, but not once I saw the pictures.
If you want a new place to park it that is a little farther away from that gate, please feel free to drop it off next to my pole-barn. (PM me if you need the address for the flatbed driver)
Bert
Dave and PB,
All I meant by my post was a simple question of an update / attempt at humor. I know and understand completely how business comes first or there won't be bread and butter on the table. I know first hand how things don't always get done in the timeframe that we had originally...
OK PB........I saw in one of your other posts that you stated its turned cold down there in Georgia. I guess you'll be back on this project right after the Georgia Rally is done.
