    I'm not going to say that GP harness is a common problem, But a few have known to go bad at the splice. The #8 or 10 gauge wire spliced, you mention at the buss, Was the fusible links. I hope they were replaced as required. Tom

I dropped my original off my Rad. shop he said I can get you new one in Aluminum, I told him No thanks I have that for now, Spectra SPICU850 Find me a Core. These parts are changing...

    The civilian trucks had a latch. My M1028A2 does not. In fact I haven't seen a military CUCV truck with one, but I've only seen a Half dozen or so. Tom

    Finally got around to adding the optional roof drip gutters around the top of the door Of the M1028A2. PITA when you open the door and water runs/drips onto the seat edge and door panel. Tom

    After five years of owning this M1028A2 finally got it repainted and spruced up a bit. Still need to install rear mud flaps as required by IL. law and running boards to protect the lower doors and front of rear fenders. More importantly so the wife gets in easier!     Got the cab lights installed yesterday. Need to finish door/window seals, repaint dash, door panels, etc. pick up seat from upholstery shop. Paint wheels few other odd's n end's, before the snow flies. TGP
