    Don't need it at all. Actually would have to cut it way down in length to work on a generator. As much as I would un-bond a wire nut would work.:grin:

    Ok. I unhooked the white braided wire coming off of j10 plug that was grounded and taped it up and wire tied it. I bet a quick connect plug for changing back and forth would work well for this.At least keep me from crawling under the generator.

    I want to make sure I remove the correct wire(neutral). My MEP-003A has the ASK kit on it and I can barely find anything, still haven't seen the oil pressure gauge,but they told me where to look. On the back of my ground lug on the generator is a large wire that feels like a big battery cable...
