    I just find it weird that changing the filter started problems for me. I had a 81 chevy pickup that did the same thing to me, but i sold it instead of trying to get it fixed. I'm fixing this one. lol.

    i thought about trying to have the trans flushed, thinking that maybe the clean fluid might have cause it stop up somewhere and its not allowing the fluid to move freely anymore.

    I'm not sure why it posted twice, sorry for that. I don't remember what brand of fluid it was, but i know it was one of the best ones you could get from autozone.

    I guess i will have to try and drop the pan again when i get home and make sure it didn't fall off, but i could have sworn that there was a retainer i had to screw on the filter so it wouldn't fall off.

    I'm pretty sure i got it back on. If i remember right there was a little nut i had to screw on to hold it on. The fluid level is perfect. Could the new fluid maybe flush out some trash that could have stopped it up somehow?

    I had no problem with it at all, but because my trans gasket was leaking and had to change it, i figured change the filter while i have the pan off. Then all the problems started.

    i have all the original TM's in the black binders, but i don't see anything in there that says trouble shoot after trans filter change. I just don't know what else to do, so figure i would get with the experts on here to help.
