Did my PMCS today, fixed a loose alternator belt, installed my gauge cluster cover and made a homemade slave connector cover. These trucks are so much fun(when they act right)
My instrument cluster just lacked luster, so i decided to remove it and repaint it and then add a clear coat. I decided that everyone has the standard black, but i have always like the OD green and black combo. I had red instrument lights but while they look cool, they are hard to see...
@ CycleJay,
my speedo/odometer isnt working either and I guess I slightly miscalculated my trips. Normal Im pretty good about tracking miles, but one trip into town can make or break you.
Oops!!!!
Run out of fuel today........ Yep my gas gauge is completely jacked up. Fortunately 5 gallons of diesel brought the "Hound" back to life.:x:whistle:rofl
Multipurpose antenna stowage
I don't always have the antenna's mounted on my 09, so I decided I needed some where to stow them. I came up with a piece of 2 inch PVC pipe ith a capped end.
I can also hang rucksacks and other things on it. Of course it will be painted.
cps240 the LED's I used I got off E-BRAY for about $7. They are small cylinders with a threaded bolt on the back, they are roughly 1/2 inches long. They stick out a little but it doesnt bother me. I believe Roboskid picked his up at a local motorcycle shop.
License plate light, I stole this idea from RoboSkid, Thanks man, this is awesome!
I used motorcycle license plate bolts with L.E.D.'s in them. The license plate is magnetic and the power cable is on a disconnect.
