    Operation "URGENT RESTORATION"

There were several Denman tires in that batch of 1,000 or so (at least it seemed like that many) that I bought out of WY. Of course none of mine were NOS.

Great additions Mark! Pretty nice to be able to get parts from the factory still.

Painting is the easy part. It's the amazing work that got to it ready to paint which is impressive.

Looks great! Glad you were able to find everything you needed. Every time I think I miss mine I go drive the M1078 and just think about climbing in/out, shifting, and steering the Goat. I'm generally smiling about then :)

Looks great! Especially with the cable conduit. Almost looks like it goes there :)

    Operation "URGENT RESTORATION"

Nice score! I talked to the guy from Rapco at the MVPA convention last year and he said he had a bunch of truss kits but every time I called after that he'd never call me back so don't know if he was just yammering or actually had some.

Wow 2 Goats in the MV of the Month competition. Wish I still had mine then all 3 of us could watch a M923 or CUCV win.

    Operation "URGENT RESTORATION"

Both my original tailgate and the NOS tailgate I got from Red River had the angle iron piece across the top.

Can't wait to see how it turns out. Mine was a cake walk compared to what you've been through with yours.

    Operation "URGENT RESTORATION"

We had a pretty good parts circle going until I blew it and sold mine. I actually just moved the engine block out of the shop for the scrap guy to pick up tomorrow.

    Operation "URGENT RESTORATION"

    Yep had one on mine.

Congrats on the progress. Brakes were what I was fighting all the time. Sounds like yours are going to be solid.

The trailer is fun to drain after it's got 3 or 4" in it. Just park on a slight incline, open the tailgate, and get washed down the driveway when it comes roaring out (wearing a swim suit is recommended).

Except the tailgate. And the bumpers. Oh, and the suspension, wheels, brake drums, etc. But the body, that's straight aluminum.

    Operation "URGENT RESTORATION"

Really amazing! Oh, wait, it's aluminum.

    Operation "URGENT RESTORATION"

Nothing like the culmination of a long journey.
