    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

The Deuce winch has quite a bit of cable length, and there are ways to run the cable that wouldn't hurt the truck. Though I agree that the truck may not always be in a situation where running the winch cable would be easy. For instance, sitting in 5 feet of water/mud. Though, that poster did...

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

There are pros that will do this sort of thing, you can find shops on the internet. And some of the people on here are certified and/or their trucks never leave their property or see pavement. However, if you're going off road, it won't matter as no insurance will attach to off road anyways...

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

Well, we're still talking theoretical...you could change the hubs. Or just go with a 5 ton to begin with. I bought a Deuce for the fuel mileage because I take long trips and it made sense. If you're designing for off road, maybe you should move away from the M35?

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

A web search comes up with 10x335, and looking at Oshkosh's web page, MRAP Wheel / Rim - Oshkosh Equipment , they also list it as 10x335. If beadlock is important, you might consider this: MRAP 20' ALUMINUM RIM | WESTERN CANADIAN ROCKWELL INC WCR has sold adapter plates in the past. I've...

They look similar. Here's the brochure on the M1076.

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

Got this for such occasions. Fits between the tires and rolls out almost the entire length. A luxury maybe, but I've had to crawl under in the mud before too.

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

I used a 1/2" 10 to 6 adapter plate that I found on evil bay. The 10 bolt pattern was 10x335mm, the same pattern also used by MRAP's I believe.

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

My wheels never came close to my exhaust. I sold my 10 wheel set about a year ago. I originally got them from Ft. Lewis. Look for govplanet military auctions. Mine came with Michelin XL's on them.

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

For what it's worth, some super singles (Michelin) are designed to be used with inner tubes. Also, though I never tried it with power steering, the M1076 wheel, which I used for 395's has a 0 offset and didn't rub when turning.

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

To be honest, it's hardly been driven since the swap. Been having a whole lot of other work being done, mostly to the cab. If fuel mileage is a concern, you may want to add at least 1 set of lockout hubs. Some people put a set on one of the rear axles as well as the front, I only did the...

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

I took out a chain link fence post. Didn't notice until I got out. Well, a Cummins 6 BT might about double your HP and torque, depending on which version of engine you get. Jeepsinker (Tactical Repair on YouTube) has videos about the conversion. I did an engine swap, you can see it here...

    Deuce Rough Terrain Limitations

Do you have near unlimited funds for your wish list? Maybe consider an engine swap, but keep the original transmission. I agree with others to stay 6x6 and keep in mind that some dually set ups have more rubber on the ground than super singles. For instance, your 395's or 15.5" compared to...
