    Wood strip bed isolater

    Poplar will rot fast, and isn't particularly hard. If you're going to use it, soak it well in a good preservative. I'd look for cypress, red wood or one of the tropical hardwoods. Cedar is probably too soft. good source of wood species information- https://www.wood-database.com/poplar/
