Repaired my my fuel filler cap flap. The bottom hole on the flap rusted away causing the flap to hang.Removed the complete flap, welded a piece of plate on it,filled it flat and redrilled the hole.Job done.
Replaced the whole rear load bay floor and tail pan.Anyone know which hump the rear or the spare wheel carrier bolts to???? 2nd or 3rd hump or is it in one of the valleys. Can't see from my old floor as it's all rusted away.
Well, all me parts have arrived........Complete rear load bay floor(in 3 parts),the rear body cross member(where the tailgate bolts into) and the fuel filler cover(inside).Guess what...the only part not made in Taiwan is the filler cover. That was a gen GM part.Soon be time to get the welder...
Had my radiator re-cored............cost! £444.00.That's $692 for you people that side of the pond.A brand new one from Germany would have cost me £445 + shipping. From the states i dread to think what it would have cost me.
