anybody live near PASO ROBLES CA, at the paso robles air port, there is a small military museum , thay have some aircraft, jeeps, out side that have about a dozen or so vehicles in need of restoration, ONE of these is a DEUCE 1/2 track (was there 10 years ago) deuce cab, bed, xcase, it has the kicked up frame, the track looks like a ww2 set up but not a ribbon track, the track it self was steel, open chevron linked, like it was made for terrain that would tear up a ribbon track

Eaw46, that was an incredibally cool and informative video. That looks like it came directly from a WW2 training briefing. I also liked the way the driver checked the tension of the fan belt after retightening. I like guys that are thorough with their maintenance.

Tracks wanted

Do you by any chance know where to get these tracks or the rubber kind for the duece?

Thanks,
Orren

For some reason doghead decided to delete the original thread started by panzerjunky this morning.
Anyway, I'll start it over with a note I wanted to add (along with the images that were rather interesting).
The add-on track goes back to a 1955 TM, the TM 9-1870-1.
