WOW! Talk about money maker! How'd that get to be "legal"? There's some land around here that is for sale, and no one looks inside your truck, unless you ask for fries with that. Will probably tint the back three on mine too, from what I have read here.
God bless,
Tony:D
Whats the going rate for land down by you Tony Im seriously thinking of going down to tennesee or northern alabama or northern georgia it gets worse every year here. The tinted rear window is still in the truck in the junk yard I may go get that too only draw back is that it is electric.

Those sliders look good. I have been looking for a pair in that condition for a while, but no joy. I bet they make a world of difference for ventilation in a non AC truck !![thumbzup]

I am not trying to start a fight so do not shoot me BUT no matter where you go there is most likley gonna be this little thing called a plain view exception. Yes folks that is right, crazy as it may sound, if the cops can see it they can investigate it. It has been used forever, air plane = marijuana grow, trafic safety inspection = seat belt voilations, open container of alcohol and so on. Now you maybe lucky enough to live in an area that does not practice it but I am sure that if they wanted to they could. I am in law emforcement and must say that it is a 2 edge sword, I wish to serve my citizens they best I can with as minimal intrusion as possible. Being a little older now I really detest some younger whipper snappers with a badge. They must learn how to apply the laws without treating everyone like a dirt bag.

The original intent of this post was not to beat up on the cops but Im just really tired of feeling as were (common every day joe citizen) alway being watched It gets worse all the time. Its cameras on stoplight stanchions to guys standing in the middle of the road looking into my vehicle it looks like 1940s germany more everyday. Im done now with the rant I will stay on the original intent of my post like I said Im not beating up on the cops as there is way more good ones than bad its just a bit overwhelming sometimes when your driving through a gauntlet everytime you go to the grocery store.

I wasn't talking about "looking in". I was aghast at the "court" and it's cost to citizens, even innocent ones!:cookoo: I like the sliding windows too! I got some tint from a local supplier and will be attempting to do my own install on the three back windows on my truck. Will post up some pics. Hopes it turns out well, never have done window tinting before.
God bless,
Tony:grin:

Tony let me know if you want the tinted window in the tailgate it was still there a couple days ago but one never knows the mental giants down there break out the tail light lenses with a hammer to get the bulbs out.

Is it a safe bet that any Blazer from 73 to 91 has similar mounting holes for seats (front and back)? Seems like there are some issues with the windows in the doors and rear but the rear side windows 'look' like they are the same size from 73 to 91.

Always a score to find a donor K5 with a nice interior! Good find sir!

As far as seats go I use the seat bases that are from the 1009 the civi version has a different height I believe they sit lower. Just unbolt the seat and bolt it right to the base in your truck I have not had any problems with the mounting bolt location on the bottom of the civi seats.

I've got a '73 blazer, I picked up the back seat from a newer model and had to modify the mounts for the rear seat cause they were off by about an inch. So double check before you buy. LOL
