Hello eveyone. I am new to this forum. I am looking at purchasing a 1097. I am trying to inform myself about this model. I am looking for a 2006 and latter model as that when they upgraded the cooling, suspension and brakes. I noticed a 1987 1097R1 that was over hauled 07/08. It has 4 MWO #s 2320280351, 2320280352, 2320280201, 2320280206. I can't to seem to find out what was replaced. Does anyone know what these represent? Thanks ahead of time.

Welcome to the SS forums!!!
That R1 is likely a 3 speed truck, if you want to drive on the streets (to include some highway driving) do yourself a BIG favor and hold out for an A2 truck with the 4 speed overdrive.
Just MHO

Thanks to Retiredwarhorses I am looking at a M1152. Do I still need to find a A2 to get the 4 speed? Thanks ahead of time.
