I'm replacing my front left caliper with a used one but noticed that the boot on the used one has some wear. Not sure if it will leak fluid and would like some advice 20230809_180849.jpg

The boot is there to keep dust and grit away from the piston.
The part that actually seals should be a gasket/O-ring inside the caliper piston area.
It probably won't leak for now, but it should be rebuilt with a new dust boot to keep crap from getting in there and scoring the piston.

I ended up replacing the seal and boot, it was so simple and worked fine. Thank you for your reply
