12 pin to 4flat adaptor fab.

I've got a 1983 M101A2. I'm building an adaptor to be able to plug into a civilian truck, and I'm slightly confused be what might be different applications of the same style plug. Using steelsoldiers.com/attachments/trailers/237469d1301517644-m101a2-lights-dummies-xm757-20trailer-20connector.jpg as a guide, I THINK I've about got it. I would like to run the red blackouts as running lights. To do that, just hook the brown wire to pin F?

Yellow: pin B
White: pin D or L

I dont think the red blackouts would work well for "civy" use, as by the time someone sees them, your 2 seconds away from being rear ended at any decent speed.
