Silly question here but is the 14B a new install? The ujoint looks wrong.
I agree, the joint looks wrong. The 14 bolt has a 1350 series yoke. The other thing you can do for strength and clearance is toss the stock strap style yoke in the trash. Get a u-bolt style yoke (Dana style). The yoke and u-bolts cost about $100.00.
If you decide to go that route you will need an inch-pound torque wrench with a range from 0-40 inch pounds, an 1.5" socket, a big breaker bar and something homemade to hang onto the yoke. The job is kind of a pain, you must measure pinion preload before and after. If you go too far you must replace the crush sleeve.
All the info is in the TM. If you decide you want to go that route let me know and I can get some more info to you.
As far as the shims go, that is an unknown. You are going to need a protractor. Pinion angle on a 1009 is kinda fickle with a lift. Also depends if you used block / springs or shackle flip. Measure it and use your best judgment .

I am 99.9% sure you need a 1330 to 1350 joint (Spicer 5-648X). EDIT... Scratch that, the yoke on the 14 bolt is 1350 series for sure... I am unsure what the stock yoke on your driveshaft is. Sounds like the M1009's were 1310?
Below is a picture of a 1350 series u-bolt style yoke on my GMC. This is where I bought mine...
