September 19-24 will be this years Color Tour near Grayling, MI. There will be organized trail rides around some of the tank trails on Camp Grayling's 200,000+ acres, a group cookout on Saturday night and even a quilting bee is being planned by some of the ladies to make quilts for wounded soldiers. A very family friendly event organized by the Mich Museum of Military Transport and the Great Lakes MVPA chapter for MV enthusiasts to get together, enjoy some good times and actually use our vehicles offroad. All attendees must be members of either MMMT or GLMVPA ($10/year dues) for insurance purposes and there is a $10 registration fee for early registrants.

i have a feeling the winches and maybe even the snatch blocks will get a little use.

Lots Of Pictures...

MMMT has a website with several pictures, don't remember the address right now, it will be 'www.mmmt.us' as soon as they can work out the bugs, perhaps a week or so. The Great Lakes MVPA website has some pictures from past events, including the ColorTours, unfortunately don't know their address either right now. I have literally hundreds, perhaps a thousand or more, of photos from every one of the previous 13 events, but no place to post them. At many of the club events around Michigan I bring out poster boards with pictures from past events, not going to be able to help you online though.

rockcrawler boy

Crystal got a pic from behind with all four drive wheels in the air. We're calling the pic "Deuce Moon", although I haven't seen it yet. Don't know if she got any from the front.

Shoulda got a pic of Danny's 42 GPW going up the trail under the front bumper while Josh was uncovering the winch.
