I do not see where you got carried away - its your vehicle and you know what you want to do with it - besides that your paying for the elec - beer - weld wire - parts -

It's one of those things I didn't think it would ever look right if I didn't replace the side panels , and what ever now. I think the beer and drinks at the end of the day cost the most

But look at all the great time you have working on it - PRICELESS no matter what it is - and when its done you have yourself the jeep you want.

I never ponder on a specific thing if its costing me too much - if I am gonna keep it I do not care - just keep the frig in the garage full of beer while I waste my money - but its MY money.

It will be a D co 815TH engineer like the other truck's hood and bumper #'s the CO's jeep. It's nice here in Indiana the hood #'s are my plates I don't have to put a plate on the trucks at all

If any one wants it, let me know, it would be a great parts unit, or mail box holder. Hate to send it off as scrap. I used it as a shooting platform on my pistol range.
$250 guys, come get it.

Frank, If I remember correctly you had that on the G838 and wasn't that an early straight 151?

No, but I do have it on G503. Several folks were pointing out different things on it, that would be on a M151 or a M151A1......hay!, maybe that is why they are called "Mutts".
Sorry for the pun...

Maybe that is where I saw it. I correspond with so many people about the 151's that I lose track of individual projects pretty quickly. I think you were asking more for it were you not? I picked up a junker in North Jersey during a snowstorm and then I saw the price on yours was lower if I remember correctly.

Yes, at first I was in no hurry to sell it, but now I am trying to clean up our other place. I have sold off several trucks this year, just hate to scrap any of them. But, I do have in the back of my mind what a friend told me last month. He scrapped his truck and got more money than he was trying to sell it for.

Where are you getting your panels from? If it is Fla. Tactical are they fitting correctly? I had so many issues with the dash side panel not having the correct radius for the foot exit area that I finally had to build my own. Never got my money back either!

Rick I had read about the panels not fitting perfect, and that of the two places tactical was the better of the two. Your right ,lucky I have a friend thats helping me that is very good with metal. the sidepanel at the dash sides with the curve. I did have to change the radius. The side panel took some work to get the radius right to match up to the fenders. You definately need to be ready to make them fit. After a few choice words its turning out real nice. Till later Rrandy
