16" wheels on a 1009

I want to increase my tire size choices on my 1009,going to 16 inch wheels.Would like to run a 315-75x16 tire,should I go with 4.5 BS? Will I need a 2" lift.Its pretty much street driven.

I literally just got my tires mounted today. I have 315/75-16 bfg ko2's and a 2" lift (with 1 ton axles). You'll be doing a lot of cutting and with stock 3.08's the 6.2 will be struggling.

Thanks,what wheels are you using?and what BS? My 1009 was regeared to 4.56 so the taller the tire the better.

35 x12.50R15 tires should still be available. Virtually the same size as the 315/75R16. FYI

Black rocks that are 16x8 with 4.5" back spacing. The 1 tons are wider though. The stock m1009 15" rims are 8" wide with 4" back spacing.

Posting pics from a phone can be a challenge. Tap a talk is what many use but it doesn't work on my junk. If youbhave an Android phone, ghe firefox browser allows you to attach pics.

Tapa talk is easier than the web browser when uploading pics.
I should add I use an older version of Tapatalk. Version 2.4.15. I don't like the newer versions. I found this older versions.

I tried Tapatalk again (used it long ago) and I kept getting errors when trying to post pics, it also said something about administrators not allowing it or something?

I give up on posting pics. I have a few more to post but it won't let me attach them or upload them from my photobucket or my computer. Why can't the site auto size pics?
