Just picked up and drove home my 1991 M925A2 from Salt Lake city Utah and drove home to Indianapolis. The eife is 23 weeks pregnant and insisted on going. Well, we made it. Took a while but we made it.

Sounds like a crazy trip! I assume it was uneventful?

Maybe I'm crazy, but that's my idea of a pleasurable trip actually, I'd love to drive across the United States in an M939 series 5 ton one of these days. (probably recovering one I just acquired).

Awesome trip. We all know pregnant women are crazy.... Mine would of wanted to go with me too. I love to hear about wives wanting to spend time with their husbands even in a 13 ton war machine.

The M925 IMHO is the best cargo truck our military ever used. I just can't decide if the A1 or A2 is the top. I drove my M925 a couple of weeks ago to winch someone out - forgot how much I liked driving it.:driver: Hope you and your wife enjoy yours as much. I know you will remember the trip the rest of your lives.

Also, Welcome to SS !!

Don't know how I missed this!

You didn't say "how pregnant" she was? Maybe, if it just happened, she can hold off until Haspin? That aught to get that water broke! If not, hope to see you all there anyhow, so far looks like I may get there this year.

We still need pictures of that new truck!

Jbulach, I have literally wondered about trying to fit a car booster seat in a 939 cab myself! If I had kids heck yeah they'd be in that cab with me all the time. :driver:

Yep, reminds me of when my son was a infant, car seat in the Combine, harvesting wheat with me.
