I've downsized my MV Fleet from 20 to only 6 total. I don't even have time to keep the 6 in good running order
Word! I did that many years ago went from 8 down to one and now I just have my one project that I'm working on and once it's done (if ever) I will just enjoy driving and maintaining it.

I did not win the truck nor did I even bid on it. I'll have to admit, I certainly thought about it! Does anyone know how much it sold for?

Right there with you PB, I went from 16 big trucks, now with the sale of the wrecker, I am down to just the M151A1,with no plans to buy any other MVs anytime soon.

Hopefully it only takes 1500 posts or so before it's done!!
When you start that restoration thread, please be sure to post a link to it here so we don't miss it.

Thanks.

How far did you have to go for that recovery?
Almost looks like it was a local run for you.... under the cover of darkness as well - The stuff a good mystery is made of.

I have the other radios/receivers and the generator but the BC325 just always escapes me. Oh well, prolly couldn't afford it if I found one!:papabear:

I guess I could take the K18-C out to the airfield on Fort Benning and guide WWII aircraft in if any happen to come by.:clinto::shrugs:

The BC-325 weighs almost 900 pounds. It did not get the nickname 'refrigerator' by accident (or maybe it did when someone got crushed). It was rated at 100 watts voice or 400 watts CW (Morse Code). I have a Ten-Tec Omni that can beat those specs which only weighs 30 pounds with power supply. Technology has come a long way since the 1930's.
