Very nice, good acquisition, That's a great little truck. And represents an era not seen a lot at shows over here.
Post up pictures of the restoration.

I have to ask. Where did you find it and what did you pay?

I know its kinda like asking a girl her weight, but I have to ask, lol.
The following is a list of what I can think of that has
been done just to achieve mechanical soundness (please, don’t tell my wife) .
Rewired head lights
Installed new head light switch
Installed new dimmer switch
Rewired dash lights
Rewired heater / blower
Rewired horn
Install new horn button
Installed turn signal switch
Gutted front blackout lights & converted to parking / turn signal
Replaced ignition coil
Replaced spark plug wires
Installed a ‘kill’ switch
Replaced ignition key switch
Removed and cleaned fuel tank
Rewired fuel sending unit
Removed & disposed of old Buick Skylark bucket seats
Sanded and primer front seat frames
Re-upholstered front seat with Gortex
Removed & disposed old utility type trailer lites
Acquired original type tail lights, gutted and converted to brake, turn signal, parking/tail light
Removed and disposed of ‘farm’ type trailer hitch
Acquired and installed original type pintle hitch
Replaced wheel cylinders
Replaced master cylinder
Replaced all brake lines and hoses
Replaced all brake shoes
Replaced brake light switch
Replaced muffler & tail pipe
Replaced battery cables
Cleaned air breather
Changed crankcase oil
Re-bolted arctic top to windshield and tub
Pressure wash many many layers of old paint off & rust

Actual purchase price was WAY too much for what has to be done.
As of today, no sanding (other than the seat frames), no spit and polish has taken place.
I am having a new shop build at home where I will be relocating near the first of the year. Then my efforts will be focused on a rare day sailor I have got to complete.
