1958 15 KW generator with HD260 continental diesel

I went to look at an old gen set in a barn today it was buried in the back and the lighting was horrible, but I took my trusty flash light and went in what I found was a 1958 15KW 3 phase gen set all complete with a continental 4 cylinder HD260 diesel. I am wrestling with weather or not I need another project it sure was a cool piece of history. I have never seen one like this before and doing some searching on the web has netted no results. Do any of you folks have one of these. It will be a real chore to get it out of that barn if I decide to make an offer on it. It was being used but it has been at least 15 years sitting there all wired to the panel but never started.

In all honesty, run away !!! I had one once. They are great units when working properly. The problem is finding parts. Because of the age of this unit you will be replacing parts. In the end it was more of a headache then I needed. I ended up selling it at a loss. Made my wife so happy to see me with another piece of junk selling it for a loss ! She just doesn't understand.
