I have been so busy with truck and equipment rehab I have had no time to post my projects. Finally getting to a point where I can share some of the projects I have completed over the last 8 years. I use this my equipment in a small business so it is hard for me to stay current on Steel Soldiers. I took lots of pictures and documented each project along the way.

looks like something the forest service would have used to make fire roads. I presume the seabees/army /marines used them at one time or other. was it tagged as military before you restored it?

Actually, it came from the oil field I believe. A farmer bought it in the early 200x and it sat in the pasture for 15 years. No military origins. I came along and made a deal on it after starting it up. Olive is my favorite color and I decided to give it the retired military motif. I thought the P-40 War-hawk teeth would be a nice look. It was a lot of work but is like new now. I have new grouser pads for it which will be installed soon. The engine was replaced when he bought it. I got it with 1400 hours on it. the undercarriage 90%. New chain, rollers, sprocket segments etc... Painting the teeth took 3 or 4 masking iterations to get it right.
