1985 M1010-How much oil, what type?

What type of engine oil are you guys running and how much oil do the 6.2 liter engines take?

I would check the TM for oil change spec. It might be 7 quarts but not sure.

I used Rotella 15w40 on my first oil change

Thank you, Yeah i have been trying to track it down in my manual but having a hard time finding the specifics. What are other people using and how much?

All trucks come with a Lubrication Order that specifies the type and quantity of required lubrucants.

You need the Lube Order LO 9-2320-289-12 for the CUCV

7 qts with filter.

Since the Tech manual section is down I have attached a copy.
