Has anyone used just the civilian glow plug temperature sensor instead of the stock/original yellow/black? I just did an engine swap and wiring harness, and the donor engine that truck the came from had a civilian glow plug temperature sensor. I was looking for how to wire it in if possible.
In my truck the glow plug controller is original Mil Spec. The glow plug relay is also original Mil Spec. The only part I am trying to swap out is the civilian glow plug temperature sensor.
I am not interested in converting the whole glow plug system to civilian, just trying to wire this sensor in.
