1165 for the bigger bulb and 67 for the smaller one. I dont even bother with the blackout lamps.

edit: the 24v bulbs have 2 filiments and the 12v versions have 1 single filiment.

The brake light bulb is an 1156. I was once told to use 1003 for running light bulbs but found that they were too bright. Now running the 97 bulb and it works much better.

Most of them came with 12v bulbs. They were made to go behind the CUCVs.
Wouldnt they burn out if you pulled it behind deuce or 5ton then?

Great minds working together. I was just about to ask a similar question. I am converting my M116A1 Pioneer trailer to the newer composite lights and the lights that I have came with 24 volt bulbs. The trailer TM says that there are military 12 volt bulbs for use with the CUCV and other 12 volt systems. Of course it didn't list civilian equivalents.

I'm on vacation next week, so this trailer which has been sitting waiting attention is going to get some mods and upgrades.

I have the new wire harness for the body, I think the inter-vehicle cable is okay but have to test it. Upgraded tail lights, paint job, etc.

Weather permitting of course, and then there is the never ending "honey do" list ... written by myself.

Good info, thanks!!
