1995 M1038 HMMWV. Newbie with questions.

Hello all, I am new to the HMMWV world but not to military vehicles. I was curious for someone "in the know" what is good to have done to one of these (1985 M103 fresh off the lot. I'm looking for common issues that are good to resolve now that i have it apart and fixing everything I can. Hub seals? Throttle cable? This that and the other. If anyone is an expert, I would love to hear your thoughts on the issues I should address first.

Does anyone know if a "242 HD Transfer Case for HUMVEE Hummer H1" will fit this engine? I am in need of a transfer case for this as well.
