I've been looking for an old 6x6 former military vehicle for awhile, following the auctions and what not. Found this site yesterday and thought it was a perfect with a lot of information that could answer my a lot of questions by just reading past posts, find additional resources and potentially meet people in my area.

My brother-in-law has a cabin off 28 between Franklin and Bryson City that has been in the family since they built it in the '50's. My wife and I just brought property near his. It's really beautiful up there.

We'll be around. Hit me up when you make it this way. It is a very beautiful area. That is why we are moving back. We're still up in Nashville atm, but bought a foreclosed house from the bank and are closing the 22nd.

I am still exploring options. Not being a mechanic, the auctions leave me a daunting task of finding something. I would love to see your 6x6. A 6x6 is on my want list for my small but growing collection of vehicles.
