Please explain more Dok . . . so your saying just replace the springs up front and leave all the other front components alone until they break?

They don't have to be 'new' springs, a 52" spring is stock in the rear of a lot of Chevy trucks. You can get them from a junk yard for a few bucks. Swap the front springs, get a couple u-bolts and a heavy duty spring plate, and some extended brake line from your local shop. You don't have to break the bank with fancy kits to lift trucks the right way.
