I won the bid on a Chevy c3500hd flatbed truck from GP it has a 6.5L turbo 60 thousand on the odometer pick it up in YERMO nice truck runs good looking to install a gooseneck hitch it has a tuck away lift gate witch makes the over hang about 87” from the center of the rear axle to the back of the bed looking for information on the best hitch set up for that much overhang and any other information on this truck their is a upgrade on the fuel pump system any information on this truck would be appreciated

You bought a fine truck there. That "Heat-Sync" device is there to solve the big issue on these trucks, which is the overheating of the PMD which is the "Pump Mounted Driver" meaning an electronic circuit that takes gas pedal position info from the engine computer and increases and decreases fuel to the motor. The PMD would overheat and the engine would stall. The other big issue that will leave you on the side of the road is the failure of the electric fuel pump under on the frame under the drivers seat area. That truck pulls just as strong as any Cummins Dodge of that era. You will have to do some careful measuring to see what brand gooseneck will work with that bed.
