For a while I have been looking for a complete winch assembly for my M35A3 but I haven't had any luck finding one. If someone has one available please let me know. Otherwise I am going to start making plans to install an electric winch. In that case, does anyone have the frame extensions that I will need?

I was also hoping that someone would have mounting brackets for a 12v alternator in an A3. I would buy this as a complete assembly if all of the parts are there or I could buy just the bracket if that is all that you have. Next time someone fabricates one of these brackets please keep me in mind.

Try poking around in a few heavy truck salvage yards that have civilian commercial trucks with Cat 3116s in them. I would think that you could find what your looking for there and easily adapt it to the 3116 in the A3. Just a suggestion.

I don't know if we are on the same page.

To clarify:
I am talking about a custom made bracket to hold a 12v alternator above the 24v alternator in a M35A3. I have seen a few members fabricate and weld these together and was hoping some one might have an extra one or would being willing to make one.

However, I do appreciate the advice and I will look at my truck this weekend to see if your suggestion would be feasible.

I have 2 MEP 018 generators to part out. This is the 10KW generator with the 4 cyl gas motor. Probably could make one good one out of both.

Mr. Tim, yes it can be taken apart in 5 pieces. It is pretty big and heavy as it is. Taking it apart should pretty easy and would make it a lot easier to handle.
