Hold on there Buckaroo Banzai, don't rush the play, I'm still heading home. GPS says around 10:30 tonight.
Jeff invited me to follow him home to KY for a shower, a great dinner and a plug in for my shelter instead of spending Sunday night at Haspin. I am very thankful for his offer.
Stonepicker(Phil) is still on his trip home too, and broke down I might add. He needs a T-case for a 99 k3500.

Two things with this post:
I want everyone to know that both Adam and I owe Angie(Adams wife) a big thank you for driving the M109a2 to Haspin and back. When Neil had to stay home because of a water pipe busting, We thought that our trip was not going to happen. So thanks again Angie for hanging in there with the back spasms coming home, and driving the 109.:driver:[thumbzup]

I like to keep up with numbers when I make trips, and while some of you might find it boring, I just thought I would show the stats for the round trip from Aiken SC to Haspin.
Miles traveled 1,250.4(Aiken to Columbia to Haspin to Aiken) Via GPS. Odo on M814 says 1403.7.
Number of flat tires (1), found 140 miles from home. Just aired it back up, I'll change it tomorrow.
Gallons of fuel purchased: 288. Gallons used, est. about 250. MPG est 5.0016 MPG.
Top speed: 60.4(going down 7% grade into Green river Valley) Slowest hill climb while on road: 23 mph going up Saluda Mountain.
Moving avg speed of 46.1 MPH
Weight of M814 and cargo at start of trip, est. 36,500 (24,000 for m814, 3,000 for genny, 5000 for fuel , 4,500 for other.
Amount of fun while going to, staying at, and going home? PRICELESS.

Since John's post reminded me, anyone remember some of the first Haspin shirts with the prices of stuff and priceless on the back? I need to see if I still have one to post a pic of.

No problem Rick. I was thankful for your help putting the truck and trailer back in the shop. It was an honor and privilege to have you stop over. At the very least you shaved an hour(+) off of today's trip and avoided the Monday road closure/detour out of Haspin.

Don't forget the introduction to Skyline Chili, the nickel tour of two firehouses, and the driveby past the Creation Museum.
:wink:rofl

It was probably on 50. Remember seeing a tractor place called Nugents? Business is good? LOL. Little reminiscing.

Ah, gotcha! Some of those northern staples I miss. I went to NY in May and ate at White Castle 3 days in a row. I miss White Castle.
