NSN: 2320000771616
There's no visible numbers on the bumper, but the hood number is 4D3773 if that helps.

I got it from a farm owner who bought it from someone else. I have no idea what base it originally came from.

Thanks in advance. I will definitely send you a donation after.

The hyperlinks in some posts are from using a browser on a mobile device. It thinks they are a telephone number. I just went back and retyped mine.

Hopefully you can get this one figured out. GL sent me paper work for a 1989. Louisiana motorvehicles (while I was watching) finally used my serial number for my license on the front bumper. However, entering it three times into their database system came back to them as NOT a 1989 model. But their system would not say what the actual year was. But it is now registered as an 1989. Here goes everything I found on the original sale. This deuce was purchased out of Huntsville, Al.
Serial number is 034011912
Truck Cargo. DTID HQ057013365201 Manf US> Army Tank Automotive Command AMSTA-1M-MM U.S. Part#8736733 FSC 2320 NSN2320009260873
Painted on the underside of the hood in three inche stencil is the following, Anti-F-O-76-77
It would be good to know if this is a 70's model Deuce as there are a few insurance companies that will insure it cheaper at the collectors rate. Thanks for your time and effort. Donation shall be forthcoming.

OK, I it appears the recent upgrade to the site has removed the issue we were having of links appearing on the NSN, VIN and/or reg #. I thought it was the person inputting it, and it was but they didn't know they were. Whatever.

It appears you have the serial number wrong. I have no record of a 340 for any trucks that are of that stock number. It should be either a 0540 or a 0640. You will need to check the serial number on the frame. Read post #1 for the location.

Nope, it isn't right. As per post #1 there ain't no I and there ain't no O s in the military. It's either a 1 (one) or a 0 (zero) but I'm in a nice mood today so I won't pull an R. Lee Ermy on you (LOL). I don't want any of you other numbnuts getting any idea that I'm in a nice mood today. I just had a moment of weakness.

I know this truck is over 40 years old, but it has obviously been refurbished by the military and mostly I would like to know when and where (if this information is available).

Also, the truck has a sticker on the door that says something about Camp Doha, Kuwait.

I am indebted to you for your kindness. Thank you very much.

Oh great and omniscient CARNAC...

Thanks for the info on my deuce. Donation Made...

Any chance you could run the history on a WWII halftrack? Or is that too old?

All I have is the registration number and the info off the front bumper.
