Clinto and I are attending the National Convention as vendors this year. We will have a 25’ x 20’ trailer space. I will only bring some of the Tan and Camo M35A2 Cargo Cover Kits seen here:

http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showth...rgo-Cover-Kits-for-M35A2-M35A3-M35-M35A1-M211

if I have pre-paid orders. I have limited space on the trailer and will be bringing lots of other stuff, so please speak up if you want one of these kits. This is a good way to save money on shipping, they are very heavy, 225lbs.

I will also have M35A2 Master Cylinders (these fit any of the M44 series deuces with single circuit brakes), brand new GI surplus, in the box for $50 each. Here’s what they look like:

I will have my brand new M-series side marker lights, most red but a few amber lenses. These are brand new, American made lights by Aurora Cord Company. Very nice pieces. 24V, incandescent. $8 each for the red and the amber lenses will be $12. Brand new in the box. Will also have brand new red lenses for $3. Pictures of the clearance light assemblies can be seen in my post here:

Brand new Red Dot A/C kits for the 915, 916, 917 and 920 series trucks. Can be retrofitted to other models like Deuce, 5 ton, etc with some fabrication for general items like brackets, etc. Show special price of $500. You know you want one, it’s like 900° outside.

Brand new, GI surplus M44 series (Deuce, M35, etc.) dogbones. I have 2 of these, $125 each.

IR lights. These are the IR lights mounted in the armor headlight housings. They have a low beam and a high beam and can be converted into headlights (or spotlights, reverse lights, etc.) if you get a clear lens and swap it out. Very nice units, NOS in the box. $50 each.

Armor headlights with IR light. This is the combination headlight and IR light that is mounted on lots of armored vehicles like the M60A3. Brand new GI surplus. $75 each.

Clintogf neglected to tell you guys she is looking for a DUKW. I can't afford one right now, but she's really interested in one.

I have 6 DUKW rims and 3 M38A1 hoods I can deliver to the convention but they have to be prepaid. I don't have room to bring them back, so I can't bring them with me if I don't have a guarantee that they don't need a ride home.

DUKW rims: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?122442-6-(six)-complete-DUKW-rims

M38A1 hoods: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?122513-M38A1-hoods-x3-75-each

Projecting your wishes onto me again!!! You better hang onto those DUKW rims because that is the closest you are getting to a DUKW. Now you will just need to build a chassis for it.

Anyone have one of the military tire dollies for a reasonable price. What's the odds it would fit in the trunk of a car? I live just off I65 in Franklin, KY. A SS member in Florida had one for $175 a while back, but shipping would have been a killer. Getting ready to start pulling wheels, trying to find the easiest method.

Thought about that. If I can find a good used one locally.
Edit. Looks like HF has one for $260 if I can't do better.

Is anybody coming through NM on I-10 and could bring a tire from Las Cruces (40 miles west of El Paso) to Louisville?

Thanks, Chris

Swindad - get a plastic mudflap off a truck - get a squirt bottle of oil - get the tire just off the ground and slide the tire in and out - that is a survivors method. By the time ya jerk on that wheel jack your tire would have already been out with the flap method.

Larry,
if you can't find a descent wheel dolly, find a tire fork (pickle fork) I got one on line for $60. They work great on the 9x20s. no mess.
