i don't blame you .. i am not gonna say one of my little 4T equipment trailers may or may not have had operational elec brakes since 1990
Ha! I would do the LEDs if I only had the one trailer. But I also kind of enjoy the learning process of stuff like this. We also have another identical truck that’s getting the same thing done over Memorial Day. We will see how this goes.

Your 24 volt input to the converter should be from the truck terminal A. The trailer terminal E should be hooked up to the 12 volt output from the converter, same wire feeding your relay contacts.
