Sorry for the late reply. The border agents were very vigilant with al lot of questions regarding possible modifications to the truck.In general they were very co operative and after about an hour we went to Can. customs . They were full of questions also about " what are you going to do with it". The real problems didn't start till I went to register it in NL. After 2 complete inspections and several discussions with transport officials they agreed to register the truck however I would need a class 3 CDL to operate it.So after writing the written test and taking the road test I got a class 3 drivers license. Although I was never in a war I fought a battle on this one. Mission accompolished

Hey Dave,

Glad you got your new truck home safely, and without *too* much trouble. I hope you're enjoying whatever trouble you can manage to get into with it...we miss the old girl around here, the two we have now don't quite measure up to yours.
