I originally bought my set of 10 as surplus from the gov't. Later when I switched back to duallies, I sold them locally. I do see some from time to time on my local Craigslist. If you're not in a hurry you can build up a set over time, or keep an eye out here, in the classifieds or on CL for some near you. It took me over a year to sell mine so if you see an old ad, they might still be available.how do most of y'all get them?
Thanks, I'll keep an eye for that, I honestly didn't even think to look at CL or even FB marketplace for tires. I did get ahold of 007 and he's like 125 miles north of me and I'll be seeing him next week.I originally bought my set of 10 as surplus from the gov't. The Deuce front axle measures 79" between wheel mounting flanges/hubs, while the rears (for duals) are 10" narrower.Has anyone with super singles that haven't flipped the hubs measured the distance to see how far off the track was between the front and rear? Thanks
I went with a 20x10 steel MRAP 2 piece wheel. I only ask because I like the look of the (dished out) option but wasn't sure how much of a difference there would be if I didn't flip the hubsThe Deuce front axle measures 79" between wheel mounting flanges/hubs, while the rears (for duals) are 10" narrower.
Your "distance" depends on what wheels you mounted your 395s on. Like 10" wheels with a backspace of about 8", mounted (dished out) on non-flipped rear hubs, will give you roughly the same track width, front vs. rear.
Only the 20-bolt MRAP steel wheels (with a 1/2" adapter plate) will pretty much line up, mounted that way.I went with a 20x10 steel MRAP 2 piece wheel. I only ask because I like the look of the (dished out) option but wasn't sure how much of a difference there would be if I didn't flip the hubs
Those are what I have for my MRAP setup but with 3/8" adapter plateOnly the 20-bolt MRAP steel wheels (with a 1/2" adapter plate) will pretty much line up, mounted that way.

But with the 12-bolt version - which have a backspace of about 11" - the difference is 3". Meaning, the track width at the rears would be 6" more than front.
