Thank you so much for taking time to pass us the useful info. Not sure what the rules are for posting, but I know of a source for 395/85 20s in Apple Valley CA, close to the DRMO. He is difficult to reach, but does call back.

Unless something has changed, Dave (at Eastern) told me you get the tires they pull...that they don't have time to pick and choose. Something could have changed (they may have fewer tires now...not sure). Dave told me that the tires were good. I ended up getting my tires from Wes Simpson, but I have no doubt that Eastern's tires are good just as Dave said. I just did not like the "first off the stack" idea.Maybe you already have but if not you could check out Eastern Surplus. They are a supporter of the site and located not too far from your area. If you search you will see they have new and used options available in that size. You probably could choose the tires you want if you went over there.
I have purchased parts from them and they are reputable.
I am going to get the windshield from Eastern Surplus, but have not asked them about the tires. I spoke with them a month ago, they were close except the internet sales. Not sure if their store is open. I will follow up with them. Thanks.Maybe you already have but if not you could check out Eastern Surplus. Good to know I have never been down there. Thanks for the info.Unless something has changed, Dave (at Eastern) told me you get the tires they pull...that they don't have time to pick and choose. You may want to give Dave at Eastern a call; Dave is a nice guy and they have a lot of parts (great source). Perhaps, they have changed their policy. When I contacted them, they had many, many tires on hand and I think it was going to be tough to take stacks of them down to pick and choose. Wes agreed to pick out a good set for me.Good to know I have never been down there. Thanks for the info.
I forgot to mention Wes Simpson good thinking.
