I have 15.5s on mine with the hubs flipped stock rims .. The front left hits the drag link at full right cut.. The fronts just nip the luvers on the inner fenders at full flex with the tires cut hard.No rubbing in the rear. If you had another inch offset on the front they wouldn't hit at all.. i think if you run m135-m34 rims they clear perfectly

I was planning on putting 46" tires on my A3 and was trying to calculate how much speed I could gain.

Top speed with the 42" M35A3 stock tires id 55MPH screaming.

From 42-46" is a 9.5% increase, so I calculated my top speed to be 60MPH

Is that right?

What size tires do the A2's have in inches? They must be considerably smaller if you are able to reach 70 MPH.

Does anyone know how the tire sizes convert to tire size in inches? I cant figure out how the military tire sizes work.

Thanks in advance

The tire guide linked is somewhat useful. Army Military Tires

The deuce pictured has reached 72.2 mph Garmin indicated. It won't have to do it again.
The truck feels good between 60-65. It seems lazy 50-55.

With the 395's mine seems to like around 60mph at about 2250-2300rpm. With stock tires it liked 47mph at 2100 rpm.

Its not a big deal when they contact. Mine (on stock rims) hit the bottom of the bed at a flat spot. Not sure if my tires on hemtt rims will hit the outside of the bed or not. I should be able to answer that question in a couple months.

What are people doing to keep the tires from getting into the bed when they are flexed?

My tires, front or rear, have never hit anything on the truck. I can not speak for others, especially the ones that roll over/run harder than me.

I apologize to the owner of the truck in the pic below as I don't know who it is. I think the guys from Georgia Mountain Rally will know!

That was Bigcase's truck(not sure where he found the brown 395s, I could only find black). Mine was setup the same. The fronts actually hit and do more damage than the rear. I have torn out most of the louvers on my inner fenders.

Looks like you had brown tires on this day!
The deuce trucks are very articulate with 395's!

Heh, got me there! I like that second pic, hadn't seen that one before.

Just so you know, I spent a bit of time this afternoon trying to find out where I downloaded that second pic. I found it, was a couple years back, and the author would be, "westechs_wifey."
