I simply don't understand why they took such a high output engine and mated it to a TH400. Talk about choking...that engine needs a manual trans or a new 6 speed to bang through the gears.

I agree, still ruined the truck.

It's funny how he says after installing the new engine "It's got more power, it's not as fast as that Cadillac CTS-V but thats ok! Its a truck!" So what was the point of that whole procedure then? I would have done a turbo 6.2 or swapped in a turbo 6.5 and called it a day for a fraction of the price and kept it diesel. But that's just me.

His first cucv (the one that was stolen) was kept very close to stock. It had the banks turbo kit in his 6.2. Dont like it dont post about it.

I preffer a diesel for off roading but did consider the EROD 6.2 with 430HP and 427 TRQ. I would have ditched TH400 for sure. In fact Im going to do that along with my Banks Turbo install. Im going with either a built 700R4 or a stand alone computer controlled 4L80E. Both will be stronger than stock. With the EROD Engine I believe he also had the possibility to go with a 6L90E. Now that would have been a much better build. Either way the build was his personal choice. To each his own. It sure would be fun with over 540 HP!
